Voice Communications: Hybrid and IP Telephone Systems

In today's competitive environment, Hi-Tech can serve as your partner, providing customized services and solutions for your communications needs.

  Hybrid Telephone Systems

Hi-Tech Enterprises offers many options of Hybrid Telephone Systems. Hybrid telephone systems work with standard telephone lines, so you never need to upgrade your phone service when your needs increase. You can easily expand from 3 CO lines to 8 stations or extensions to 3 CO lines and 8 extensions with the addition of plug in cards. Installation is relatively simple. Connections of lines are on single line RJ-11 jacks. Connections for phones are on standard 4-wire modular jacks. With many options available to your business, a system can be custom tailored to meet your needs. Call our office for more information.

IP Telephone Systems

In keeping with cutting edge technology, Hi-Tech Enterprises offer many choices of IP telephones. There are many advantages to using an IP telephone. An IP phone uses Voice over IP technologies allowing telephone calls to be made over an IP network such as the internet instead of the ordinary PSTN (public switched telephone network) system. Calls can traverse the Internet, or a private IP Network such as that of a company. The phones use control protocols such as Session Initiation Protocol, Skinny Client Protocol or one of various proprietary protocols such as that used by Skype. IP phones can be simple software-based Softphones or purpose-built hardware devices that appear much like an ordinary telephone or cordless phone.  Ordinary PSTN phones are used as IP phones with analog telephony adapters (ATA).

IP phones may have many features that analog phones don't support, such as e-mail-like IDs for contacts that may be easier to remember than names or phone numbers. Call us today and let us explore if this new IP Technology is the best solution for your company.
